Volunteer with CFA – Make a Difference for Animals in CT!

Join us at CFA and make a difference! We offer a variety of volunteer opportunities for dedicated individuals who want to help protect animals and make an impact in their community. Whether you can give a little time or a lot, your involvement makes a real difference in the lives of animals in need.  

We have 3 Volunteer Levels / Ways to Get Involved:

• CFA Volunteer / Helper – CVH

• CFA Education Material Distributor - CFD

• CFA Ambassador / Trainer - CAT​

🐾 Community Events - CFA holds or participates in a variety of community events.  ​

A CFA Volunteer/Helper – CVH would

• Assist in setting up and/or breaking down booths or displays at events
   

A CFA Education Material Distributor - CFD  would

• Assist in setting up and/or breaking down booths at events

• Communicate who, what and why CFA exist

• Engage with attendees about animal welfare issues in CT

• Distribute educational materials

• Direct potential members to our website to sign-up to receive our emails, newsletter and other important information
   

 A CFA Ambassador/Trainer - CAT​ would

• Assist in setting up and/or breaking down booths at events

• Communicate who, what and why CFA exist

• Engage with attendees about animal welfare issues in CT

• Distribute educational materials

• Design and coordinate educational material and webinars

• Host and deliver educational webinars

• Lead and deliver – educational programs to k-12 and or College students

• Lead, Coach and mentor college groups and volunteers

• Recruit, lead, coach and mentor CVHs & CFDs

 

🎓 Educational Webinars - CFA hosts virtual and hybrid educational webinars

A CFA Ambassador/Trainer (CAT) would assist in

• Design and coordinate educational material and webinars

• Host and deliver educational webinars

• Lead and deliver – educational programs to k-12 and or College students

 

🎓 Ambassadors Program Coordination and Leadership​

 A CFA Ambassador/Trainer would

• Lead, Coach and mentor college groups and volunteers

• Recruit, lead, coach, supervise and mentor CVHs & CFDs

• Help create engaging educational webinars / and partnerships with guest experts

• Collaborate with guest presenters and assist with organization

• Set up and host virtual events
   

📚 Educational Events Include:

• Organize small, town-focused educational events

•  Local libraries, schools, senior centers, colleges and more.

• Present on important animal welfare topics

• Aligning with industry experts and partner organizations

• Development of materials and presentations
